Comprehensive Plan Committee

Committee Overview

The committee is tasked with updating the most recent comprehensive plan (completed in 1997) to serve as a roadmap for how residents would like to see the community develop in areas such as housing, economic development, land use, preservation of natural resources, recreation, and transportation. The process of updating the plan is intended to be collaborative, with residents and community stakeholders providing input alongside Town leadership and staff to create a common vision for Norridgewock that will drive the community forward.

Kennebec Valley Council of Governments (KVCOG) is the project consultant in this plan update. Their fees are paid for wholly through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program.
